Server and workstation solutions

Colfax International has launched new server and workstation solutions featuring the eight- and twelve-core AMD Opteron 6100 Series processors. Custom engineered for unique customer environments, these Colfax platforms help increase energy efficiency, and ensure superior value and optimal performance for demanding, real-world workloads.

Based on the next-generation AMD Direct Connect Architecture 2.0 with up to 48 total cores in a 4P configuration, these platforms more than double the memory bandwidth and provide nearly 1.3x the I/O bandwidth of previous generation 2P and 4P servers and workstations, helping research institutions, enterprises and small or medium-sized businesses tackle complex jobs with greater throughput and readiness to scale.
