The Scientific Computing World 75

The Scientific Computing World 75 logo in blue. The subhead reads: Celebrating the thought leaders in scientific computing

Scientific Computing World is proud to present the SCW75: an annual programme honouring the individuals whose strategic decisions about research computing infrastructure change what science can achieve.

Behind almost every modern research breakthrough is a computing infrastructure.

And behind that infrastructure is a person – making decisions worth millions of pounds, enabling work that would otherwise be impossible and navigating the complex intersection of technology and scientific ambition. Yet these leaders rarely receive the recognition they deserve.

The SCW75 changes that. After 30 years serving the research computing community, Scientific Computing World is shining a light on the 75 individuals who are actively transforming their organisations through the strategic deployment of scientific computing.

This year's list is divided into three sections drawn from the scientific computing landscape, a veritable Who's Who of High-performance computing (HPC), Lab informatics and digitalisation, and Computer-aided engineering, modelling and simulation.
