PRESS RELEASE

10 Gigabit Ethernet Value Bundle

Colfax International, an international provider of hardware and software for the high-performance computing ecosystem, has launched a low-cost 10 Gigabit Ethernet Value Bundle, which includes a 10GigE Fujitsu switch, Mellanox ConnectX-2 EN adapter cards and Mellanox copper cables.

The bundle improves application performance and productivity in enterprises and high-performance data centres by delivering high-bandwidth and low-latency 10GigE connectivity. Clustered databases, web infrastructure, and IP video servers are just a few applications that will achieve significant throughput and latency improvements resulting in faster access and real-time response.

The bundles comprises a 26-port Fujitsu XG2600 10GbE SFP+ switch, eight Mellanox ConnectX-2 EN 10GbE adapter cards, and eight Mellanox 3m copper cables with SFP+ connectors. The bundle supports green initiatives with low power consumption.
