Matrix Gemini LIMS performance enhancements revealed at Lab Innovations

The latest version of the Matrix Gemini LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) from Autoscribe Informatics, featuring flexibility and productivity enhancements, will be on show at Lab Innovations 2016, together with the brand new Environmental Sampling Management module.

This new module is designed for the management of sampling of sanitary conditions in production and storage areas in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology manufacturing processes.

Regular sampling for microbial and particulate contamination is an essential requirement in many industries. The new Environmental Sampling Management module uniquely links sampling point locations, test results and corrective action plans in one easy to use graphical environment. Fully configurable, the system can be easily adapted to the needs of individual laboratories and manufacturing units.

The latest version of Matrix Gemini provides more flexibility for importing documents, pictures and files, thereby speeding up sample entry and other common tasks. Improvements to the bulk sample registration workflow increase flexibility when registering multiple samples and improve user efficiency in the Lab.

The entry of results, where certain pre-defined options are needed, can also be significantly speeded up thanks to further enhancements to Matrix Gemini’s ‘editable list box’ feature. A number of useful display functions have also been added, with the ability to display dynamic images or button colours. This allows images on buttons or button colours to change based on result calculations or real time data changes on the screen.
