InfiniteStorage 6120

SGI has launched the SGI InfiniteStorage 6120, a cost-effective storage product designed for superior density, high capacity, IOPs performance and multiple drive options. The new product is ideal for small to medium-sized data warehouses, corporate HPC, video surveillance and rich media applications.

The SGI InfiniteStorage 6120 offers high density with 60 drives in each 4U enclosure. The unit scales to 120TB in an 8U pair with up to 11 enclosures or 660TB in a single rack. With four 8Gb Fibre Channel host ports and 2.0 GB/s sustained throughput, the SGI InfiniteStorage 6120 is a self-contained system that delivers maximum flexibility and performance.
