Adaptive Computing Acquired by ALA Services

Adaptive Computing, a provider of workload and resource orchestration software, has announced it has been acquired by ALA Services, the investment entity of Arthur L Allen, founder, former President and CEO of ASG Software Solutions.  

‘Adaptive Computing is adding proven growth expertise and infrastructure through this acquisition by ALA.  Arthur L Allen brings deep insights and a proven process he has used to drive success,’ said Marty Smuin, CEO of Adaptive Computing.  ‘We look forward to accelerating our business and improving value to our customers by combining ALA’s expertise with Adaptive Computing’s leading technology and great position within the market.” 

ALA is currently beginning a new round of technology investments and has as its objective to acquire and grow its combined portfolio of companies to more than a half a billion in annual revenues.

Adaptive Computing’s platform ‘Moab Workload Manager’ automates application workload placement and resource orchestration in the high-performance computing (HPC), high throughput computing (HTC), and service-oriented architecture (SOA) markets.  With this acquisition Adaptive Computing adds new expertise and infrastructure to better service is current and growing customer base.
