Vectorworks

Nemetschek Vectorworks, a provider of CAD and building information modelling software solutions, has announced that its Tokyo-based distributor, A&A, has released a Japanese-language version of  Vectorworks design software.

A&A is expanding its reach to other design disciplines by offering localised versions of the entire Vectorworks product line, including solutions specific to the landscape and entertainment design industries. The first shipment party (Hatsunishiki), a Japanese tradition to celebrate the new version of the software, took place on 7 January.

Nemetschek says the Vectorworks 2013 product line contains more than 80 improvements, including new commands and tools. Performance in many areas of the program has also been improved. Examples of this include wall network manipulation, hidden line rendering, changes to Vectorworks Spotlight lighting devices and 2D navigation of Vectorworks scenes.
