TwinBlade blade server

Super Micro Computer has introduced its TwinBlade product, the latest addition to its SuperBlade family of blade servers.

With superior processing power and performance-per-watt, the TwinBlade server doubles the number of dual-processor compute nodes per 7U enclosure from 10 to 20, leading to 0.35U density per node.

With 1,440 processing cores per 42U rack and Mellanox 40Gb/s QDR InfiniBand, SuperBlade is the perfect solution for HPC applications. Additional cost savings from reduced IT space requirements as well as easier maintenance and management make these solutions an attractive option for both enterprise and HPC applications.
