TeraOS 5

Terascala has announced the latest generation of its high-performance storage appliance software, a Lustre-based system that integrates and manages servers, network, storage and file system components.

The release of TeraOS 5 enables access to Lustre 2.1.5 with enhancements including 4TB drive support and OST/MDT sizes up to 128TBs. In addition to supporting new storage controllers, TeraOS 5 includes a number of enhancements including out of the box integration with Terascala’s recently announced Intelligent Storage Bridge. Storage Bridge is designed for rapidly integrating information and streamlining workflows between high-performance storage and existing enterprise storage solutions.

Terascalas solutions are currently powering products from OEMs such as Dell and NetApp, including the Dell HSS series and NetApp’s High-Performance Storage (HPS) Rack.
