EndNote X2 for Mac OS X

Share this on social media:

Adept Scientific has released EndNote X2 for Mac OS X, its bibliographic management software.

EndNote X2 introduces a full text locator for references, Smart Groups for instant reference sorting, Cite While You Write (patent pending) compatibility with Microsoft Word 2008 and additional features that allow users to maximise efficiency and focus on their research.

In EndNote X2, the user simply selects one or more references, or a group, to locate full text by scanning available online sources. Once found, EndNote downloads and attaches the PDF file of the article to the appropriate reference automatically all while the user continues working.

EndNote X2 brings organisational and collection touch points together in the Groups panel, making these frequently used tasks easy to find and use: create Smart Groups based on user criteria for automatic sorting of references as they’re added to an EndNote library; search favourite online resources and library catalogues instantly; retrieve deleted references from the Trash group and transfer groups of references between EndNote Web and EndNote easily.
