AMD has recently announced its FirePro GPU technology, specifically designed for engineering and design professionals, will be available with certified workstations such as the Dell Precision Range listing two recently released examples.
FirePro professional graphics are specifically made for engineering and design professionals. They are optimised and certified by leading Independent Software Vendors (ISV) to ensure stability and performance under extreme compute intensive workloads.

The two workstations that have been released represent the mid-range systems and both feature the AMD FirePro v4900
The first system announced is the Dell Precision T1700 Mini Tower. The system features Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), Intel Xeon E5-1620 / 4 Core (3.7GHz), AMD FirePro V4900 professional graphics card with 1GB GDDR5 memory, 8GB (4x2GB) 1,600MHz DDR3 memory and a 500GB (7,200rpm) Hard Drive.
The final system released is the Dell Precision T3610 Tower Workstation, it features Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), Intel Xeon E5-1620 v2 / 4 Core (3.7GHz Turbo), AMD FirePro V4900 professional graphics card with 1GB GDDR5 memory, 8GB (4x2GB) 1600MHz DDR3 memory and a 500GB (7,200rpm) Hard Drive.
