3DBOXX 4150 XTREME

BOXX Technologies, the leading innovator of high-performance computer workstations and rendering systems, today introduced the latest version of the 3DBOXX 4150 XTREME, their compact, professional workstation featuring an overclocked, 4th generation (Devil’s Canyon) Intel Core i7 processor. The latest Intel processors offer a significant performance increase over previous Intel technology and BOXX is the only workstation manufacturer featuring the new micro architecture safely overclocked and backed by a three year warranty.

“The introduction of the new Devil’s Canyon Intel Core i7 processor is a significant upgrade for any workstation,” said BOXX Product Marketing Manager Chris Morley. “But when you add XTREME overclocking, the result is the very best in workstation performance— and that’s what architects, engineers, and visualization pros have come to expect from BOXX.”

The integration of an overclocked, 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor (4.5 GHz) makes 4150XT 200MHz faster than the previous model, for an aggregate total of 800MHz. In terms of sustained performance, 4150XT outperforms its predecessor by nearly ten percent. As compared to standard model Intel Core i7 workstations which, even with a 4.4GHz Turbo Boost, may still clock down to as low as 4.0GHz during compute-intensive tasks, the overclocked 4150XT reaches 4.5GHz and sustains that frequency across all cores—even in the most demanding situations. The new 3DBOXX 4150 XTREME also features advanced liquid cooling and a compact chassis, making it ideal for space-constrained environments.

Available with up to two, full-length NVIDIA or AMD professional graphics cards, solid state drives and a gold level power supply, 4150 XTREME provides outstanding support for engineering, architectural, and product design software including Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, and other frequency-driven applications. It also delivers exceptional performance for visualization, 3D animation, modeling, and motion media.

“BOXX customers demand the latest technology and reliable innovation for greater efficiency and productivity,” said Shoaib Mohammad, BOXX VP of Marketing and Business Development. “From the new, overclocked Devil’s Canyon Intel Core i7, to features like liquid cooling, a space-saving chassis, and full power professional graphics, BOXX continues to deliver maximum workstation performance in a minimal space.”
