OriginLab, a leading publisher of data analysis and graphing software, announces today that OriginPro software will be available through the OnTheHubTM eStore and network of school-branded web stores powered by Kivuto Solutions, the world’s leading provider of hosted, flexible and scalable solutions for complex digital distribution requirements. This agreement provides students with a six-month license for OriginPro software at significantly discounted pricing. Students will be eligible for license renewals as long as they are enrolled at a qualified institution.

“We are excited to enter into this agreement with Kivuto,” said Easwar R. Iyer, VP of Technology, OriginLab. “Students will be able to tap into the full suite of OriginPro’s capabilities for their coursework or for preparing their thesis. This agreement equips the next generation of engineers and scientists with the tools they need to analyze data and create publication-quality graphs.”

Kivuto has more than 24,000 web stores worldwide, covering over 60,000 academic institutions. Each year, millions of users access exclusive academic deals through a secure, safe and legal software distribution network. OriginLab’s agreement with Kivuto goes into effect immediately, meaning students will be able to use their licenses from the first day of the upcoming fall 2014 semester.

“The addition of OriginPro to our extensive selection of software licenses is significant for us and a tremendous advantage to the students we serve,” said Ryan Peatt, VP of Business Development at Kivuto. “OriginLab is among the premier software developers for the science and engineering fields, noted for their continuous product improvements based upon user feedback. Students who purchase OriginPro licenses through Kivuto’s OnTheHub network are benefiting from the collective feedback of actual users.”
