Maplesoft reaches agreement with Global Computing

Maplesoft, a provider of high-performance software tools for technical education and research, has announced a reseller agreement with Global Computing, a software development company serving Central and South America. Global Computing will support the sale of Maplesoft products in Colombia.

Currently used by more than 8000 educational institutions, research labs, and companies in over 90 countries, Maplesoft provides mathematics-based software solutions to educators, researchers, and engineers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Maplesoft products provide STEM-focused solutions for online assessment, modeling and simulation, and online courseware, offering modern solutions to meet the specific needs of STEM education and research. 

‘Maplesoft is renowned among technology-focused educational institutions for their academic products and solutions,’ said Adriana Valdillo, general director of Global Computing. ‘Our agreement with Maplesoft will allow us to support the introduction and distribution of Maplesoft products in the dynamic market of Colombia. Global Computing began operations in 1998 to support educational institutions and research centres with fast and efficient application development using technical and scientific data. They have signed partnership and distribution agreements with leading companies in the computer and engineering industries, with extensive experience in the development and adaptation of IT solutions aimed at various areas of specialisation.
