LabVantage has launched its new online Innovation Center, an open-source community for Sapphire and SQL*LIMS customers. The Innovation Center allows source codes, materials, and applications to be freely shared within LabVantage’s customer base. The centre is accessible in VantageCare, the company's customer care site, developed on the Sapphire LIMS platform. By leveraging Sapphire’s zero-footprint technology, modern interface and search functions, users can easily access the centre and navigate through topics of their interests a web browser.
The new innovation centre comes as a development of the company's existing Innovation Center Exchange, launched in 2009 for the SQL*LIMS user group to provide a structurally enhanced knowledge exchange environment to the user community. Already storing a number of application extensions and novel customisations, the repository will be continuously enriched to cover more areas applied to various operational functions and industry segments.
