EndNote Basic

The intellectual property and science business of Thomson Reuters, the provider of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, has announced the launch of its EndNote Basic online offering, an enhanced solution with features and functionality for reference management users looking for a free alternative.

'The research management space is at a pivotal point and users need proven solutions across all levels of the research spectrum,' said Amanda Addis, vice president and general manager of the EndNote solution from Thomson Reuters.

'Thomson Reuters has always had a free EndNote product, and we’ve now made it even more appealing in light of current market conditions. We want researchers to know they have a "free" choice from Thomson Reuters with our new EndNote Basic.'

EndNote Basic includes storage for two gigabytes of attachments and 50,000 references, as well as the top 20+ most frequently used styles.
