Altair adds Moldex3D to HyperWorks

Altair has improved its HyperWorks Enabled Community (HWEC) with the addition of Moldex3D software, produced by CoreTech System, a developer of professional CAE analysis solutions for the plastic injection moulding industry. HyperWorks users can now download the latest version of Moldex3D from the HWEC website and use the software at no incremental cost through their existing HyperWorks software license system. Altair states that more than 295 companies worldwide have now joined the HyperWorks Enabled Community.

Moldex3D is a CAE product for the plastics injection moulding industry. With advanced analysis technology, the software simulates in depth a wide application range of injection moulding processes to optimise product design and manufacturability, shorten time-to-market, and maximise product ROI. Among the Moldex3D product lines, eDesign is suite of tools that allows users to simulate parts and mould designs before manufacturing begins and Solid/Shell is a complete series of advanced engineering simulation tools for in-depth analysis and optimisation of the most advanced moulding processes.
