Engineering software most significant innovations of 2006

Control Engineering magazine recently awarded National Instruments’ LabView 8.20 the 2006 Engineers’ Choice Award, and named it one of the most significant innovations of 2006. The decision was made by subscribers to the magazine, based on three criteria: service to the industry, technological advancement and market impact.

LabView 8.20 has improved the industrial measurement capabilities of the software, with new features for advanced analysis and control, improved distributed system management and improved human to machine interfaces. The software simplifies the customisation of hardware control
