GPU Technology Conference expands

Nvidia is expanding its GPU Technology Conference (GTC) to, the company says, address the increasing global demand for, and interest in, GPU computing to drive next-generation research and scientific discovery. GTC 2010 attracted more than 2,000 attendees from more than 40 countries, and Nvidia is now adding multiple regional GTC events across the globe, including events in the following locations:

             12 May 2011 – The Biopolis, Singapore

             19 May 2011 – Sheraton Taipei Hotel, Taipei

             30 May 2011 – Hilton Hotel Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

             22 July 2011 – Tokyo Midtown Hall (Roppongi), Tokyo

             15-16 December 2011 – TBD, Beijing

The North American GTC will become an annual spring event, with this year’s conference being moved from October 2011 to spring 2012. Sponsors for the spring 2012 GTC include Adobe, Amax, Appro, Bull, Caps, Dell, GE Intelligent Platforms, HP, Lenovo, Los Alamos National Labs, Microsoft, NextIO, PNY, Supermicro, Synnex, and SGI.
