German odyssey for HPC Advisory Council

The HPC Advisory Council has announced that it will host the 4th Annual HPC Advisory Council European Workshop 2013 in the Congress Center Leipzig, Germany on 16 June.

The workshop will focus on HPC productivity, and advanced HPC topics and futures, and will bring together system managers, researchers, developers, computational scientists and industry affiliates to discuss recent developments and future advancements in high-performance computing. Speaker and sponsorship opportunities are available.

'ISC is delighted to continue its collaboration with the HPC Advisory Council by hosting this event,' said Hans Werner Meuer, ISC general chair. 'The council has become a cornerstone for HPC outreach and education worldwide and we are looking forward to a very rich and interesting program highlighting the current status and the future development of various high-performance technologies.'

Gilad Shainer, chairman of the HPC Advisory Council, added: 'The HPC Advisory Council is pleased to collaborate again with ISC for this upcoming high-performance computing education and outreach workshop in Germany. This is an excellent educational opportunity for European-based, HPC and data center IT professionals.'

Pricing for the one-day workshop is €30. Registration for the workshop is required and is now open through the ISC’13 registration page. The one-day workshop will include coffee breaks and lunch, courtesy of the HPC Advisory Council.
