CD-adapco enhances HPC offering

Independent CFD-focused provider of engineering simulation software, CD-adapco, has enhanced its high-performance computing (HPC) environment with Dell. CD-adapco works with intelligent physics simulations to help streamline design and computational modelling in industries such as automotive, aerospace and shipping. To support these complex computational models, the company has tripled its existing implementation of Dell PowerEdge M610 blade servers.

CD-adapco’s 350 engineers are now able to run multiple Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) applications simultaneously, allowing for a three-fold increase in the number of jobs they can process at any given time or allowing single jobs to be run at a much higher speed. This has also improved turnaround time for customers, reduced costs and enhanced service delivery.
