Altair Engineering has announced the addition of Epsilon Structural Analysis to the company's channel programme as a UK reseller of the HyperWorks virtual simulation suite. As part of the agreement, Epsilon will provide and support the HyperWorks technology suite to companies within the region’s growing design industries.

Built upon a foundation of design optimisation, performance data management and process automation, HyperWorks is an enterprise simulation solution for rapid design exploration and decision-making. As the most comprehensive, open-architecture CAE solution in the industry, HyperWorks includes best-in-class modelling, analysis, visualisation and data management solutions for linear, non-linear, structural optimization, fluid-structure interaction, and multi-body dynamics applications.

'We are very pleased to partner with Altair and be able to provide the HyperWorks CAE suite to the engineering community,' said Alan Plumley, sales manager at Epsilon. 'Many industries are under increasing pressure to improve product performance, bringing new solutions to market in ever shorter timescales in an increasingly competitive global market. The productivity improvements that the HyperWorks suite provides combined with Epsilon's commitment to the highest standards in client services, make this partnership an attractive proposition for our clients. We can now provide the simulation tools and support they need to meet their global challenges.'
