Fujitsu wins Japanese Prime Minister’s Prize for technology to accelerate scientific computing

Fujitsu has received the Prime Minister’s Prize at Japan’s 2026 National Commendation for Invention for a technology designed to improve the speed and accuracy of scientific computing workloads.

Fujitsu said the technology is now being integrated into its next-generation FUJITSU-MONAKA processor platform, targeted for launch in 2027.
