Jülich and Google announce research partnership

Forschungszentrum Jülich and Google have announced a partnership to accelerate research in the field of quantum computing. The partnership will include joint research and training in the fields of quantum technologies and quantum algorithms and the mutual use of quantum hardware.

HPC and Quantum Summit 2019

The scientific world joins its powers to drive HPC R&D forward and, with the rise of Supercomputing and Quantum technologies, it requires continual industrial development in software engineering and computer science.

Join our expert speakers to learn about new products and applications, and to discuss how to develop systems that meet industrial needs and extract value from big data.

Quantum Computing Workshop

Argonne National Laboratory, future home of the Aurora exascale system, will hold its first Quantum Computing Workshop from July 25-27, 2018, at the lab's Theory and Computing Sciences (TCS) Conference Center.

Participants will learn about the latest research and technologies in quantum computing. The workshop has four goals:

HPC2018 “High Performance Computing: From Clouds and Big Data to Exascale and Beyond

The main aim of this workshop is to present and debate advanced topics, open questions, current and future developments, and challenging applications related to advanced high-performance distributed computing and data systems, encompassing implementations ranging from traditional clusters to warehouse-scale data centres, and with architectures including hybrid, multicore, distributed, and cloud models.
