Thomson Scientific has released Bondplus, an integrated, web-based data platform to address the information requirements of biological researchers. Compiled from 15 assembled resources including GenBank, RefSeq, Entrez Gene and UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot, Bondplus allows researchers to use publicly available biological sequence data.
It is an intuitive resource for any researcher, uniting the genomic, proteomic and metabolomic research communities around a comprehensive platform. The subscription service provides information from more than 15 assembled resources including Bindplus and GenesQ in addition to pre-computed data sets with Blast functionality, visualisation tools and more than 80 million in public domain sequences.
