PRESS RELEASE

Dotmatics appoint Dr Shikha OBrien as VP of Strategic Sales and Marketing

Dotmatics, a leading provider of scientific informatics solutions and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Shikha O’Brien as Vice President of Strategic Sales and Marketing.  The announcement comes to support Dotmatics’ increased footprint in the scientific informatics market and to further establish itself as one of the leading providers of data management solutions and services.

Dr. Shikha O’Brien has been responsible for the growth of the North American business for Dotmatics and her new role will focus on continuing to expand Dotmatics’ user base, establishing new markets and strategic alliances. “As the company’s customer base continues to proliferate across the Life Sciences sector, our solutions are increasingly being utilised in many other vertical markets,” said Dr. O’Brien. “Organisations are adopting the Dotmatics platform because it provides easy access to technical and scientific data. Dotmatics delivers an off the-shelf, on premise or cloud-based solution for anyone working with data in biotech, pharma, agro and petro chemicals and manufacturing. Our platform provides an entire infrastructure, offering secure real-time collaboration, including document sharing, a multi-disciplinary Electronic Lab Notebook, data visualisation and data analysis.  Working closely with our users, we are continually developing novel solutions, for example automatic mass spec analysis of antibody-drug conjugates in bioanalytical space.”

Dr. Stephen Gallagher, CEO of Dotmatics, added “The adoption of Dotmatics’ products and our continued expansion has always been based upon the ease with which it allows scientists to access their data. This approach has propelled its success in Life Sciences and other industries are now following suit.  Shikha joined Dotmatics in October 2010 and along with her many sales successes, has played a pivotal role in building the US Sales and Application Science Teams and I am delighted that Shikha will continue to be part of our future growth.”
