Gene Codes has released Sequencher 4.8 - the newest version of the DNA sequence assembly and analysis software for both PCs and Macs.
Version 4.8 includes the new Translated Variance Table, which helps researchers find DNA sequence variations that alter protein coding. Along with improvements to the Variance Table, users can now customise the focus of analysis to specific regions or features, showing variants and flanking bases in one interactive table.
The new version includes four new reporting formats for saving or presenting results along with all the supporting data in one place.
