ChemAxon’s JChem Cartridge platform has achieved Oracle Exadata-ready status, meaning that it has been fully tested and supported on Oracle’s Exadata Database Machine.
The Oracle Exastack-ready programme allows partners to be recognised by Oracle for developing, testing and tuning their applications on the Oracle Exadata Database Machine, which is the only database machine that provides extreme performance for both data warehousing and online transaction processing (OLTP) workloads, making it the ideal platform for consolidating onto private clouds. It is a complete package of servers, storage, networking, and software that is massively scalable, secure, and redundant. The programme recognises ChemAxon as having applications that use the latest Oracle technology to support joint customers.
‘ChemAxon is emerging as the enterprise partner of choice in enabling chemical information in life science research,’ said Alex Allardyce, marketing director at ChemAxon. The company provides both scientific functionality and choice of technical deployment options. By developing core features and then rationally implementing in various environments, such as Java, .NET, Oracle Cartridge, SharePoint Web Parts or through offering desktop applications or developer toolkits it is able to serve the same functionality and consistency of results from out-of-the-box solutions to custom platform integration.
