PRESS RELEASE

GeneMapper ID-X

Applied Biosystems has launched the GeneMapper ID-X software application to automate routine forensic DNA analysis. The suite of integrated software tools provides more efficient analysis by pinpointing specific samples that require further attention.

The software application provides computerised forensic expertise that streamlines the routine review of data required for DNA analysis, eliminating redundant tasks. The GeneMapper ID-X also incorporates electronic chain-of-custody functionality, which ensures the integrity of forensic data throughout the analysis process.
