DEM Solutions has launched EDEM 2.0, which is the latest version of its particle simulation modelling software.
The EDEM 2.0 graphic user interface is a parallelised Discrete Element Modelling software for particle simulation applications. It is customisable and offers an extensive set of features so a wide range of particulate processes can be simulated. It can also simulate more than one million particles on a desktop computer.
EDEM 2.0 features include a faster solver with new multi-core parallel to compute on up to 8 CPU, a new compact file format to provide a reduction in file size and increased in visualisation speed and built-in video generation capabilities in all major video codecs.
