IDBS has added key data visualisation and data analysis capabilities to E-WorkBook 9.4. The new chemical drawing features enable users to capture a wider variety of molecular types, and streamlines chemistry data input.
Users can also now define organometallic structures; in addition, customisable chemical data lookup functionality aims to help collaboration and data retrieval from external repositories. This gives chemists access to existing experimental information they need to progress research.
The latest version supports direct addition of data to experiments at point-of-use, saving time and avoiding duplication of work. It also removes the need to copy and paste information across data libraries and safeguards accuracy, reducing potential for error.
Enhanced reaction stoichiometry workflows also offer increased data analysis capabilities in fewer clicks. The new release complements the chemistry functionalities already in the system such as the Parallel Synthesis tool, which supports the creation of virtual compound libraries without recording chemical reactions multiple times.
E-WorkBook 9.4 also delivers enhanced PDF lifecycle and task flow capabilities which enable users to generate PDF content online and sign work digitally. The optimised task flow functionalities ensure efficient reporting and, importantly, IP protection, applicable across all domains. This feature synergises with the 9.4 enhanced web client, which delivers a browser-based solution.
