The thousandth book sponsored by The MathWorks has been published. The MathWorks currently works with leading publishers and authors in academia to write and publish books based on Matlab and Simulink.

Following the release of Mathematica 6, Wolfram Research has launched a new website showcasing interactive demonstrations of the software. The Wolfram Demonstrations Project can be found at and includes examples from school education to scientific research.
