Accelerated Technology Laboratories joins Microsoft BioIT Alliance

Accelerated Technology Laboratories (ATL), a supplier of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and laboratory automation, has joined the Microsoft BioIT Alliance. The Alliance brings together pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hardware and software industries to explore new ways to share complex biomedical data and collaborate among multi-disciplinary teams to expedite discovery in the life sciences. The Alliance also allows members to identify new technologies to overcome the challenges faced by life science companies like data integration, collaboration, and knowledge management that cannot be solved by any organisation alone.

'ATL is excited to be a part of the BioIT Alliance. The opportunity to collaborate with other innovative biotechnology and high technology companies towards the common goal of improving the quality of life for people around the world is definitely something we want to be part of,' said Dr Christine Paszko, vice president of sales and marketing for ATL.

ATL's flagship Sample Master Pro LIMS platform is an ideal solution for laboratories in the biotechnology sector that have requirements around lot and batch management, reagent management, stability studies, quality assurance, full audit trail, and integration with the latest scientific instrumentation. Sample Master LIMS also includes broad support for industry data integration standards that will allow new collaboration opportunities with other members of the BioIT Alliance.
