Molegro has released Molegro Data Modeller, a cross-platform application for data mining, data modelling, and data visualization.
The user interface, based on a spreadsheet layout, eases statistical computations such as linear regression, supports vector machines, neural networks, principal component analysis, outlier detection and algebraic data transformations. Built-in wizards ease feature selection and cross validation.
The software also includes visualisation tools. It is a simple and affordable alternative to complex workflow-based solutions and command-driven statistical products.
