PRESS RELEASE

Bright Cluster Manager Nvidia GPU support

Bright Computing, a provider of management solutions for clusters and clouds, has announced support for the Nvidia Tesla K40 GPU accelerator.

Bright Cluster Manager now collects metrics, and includes health checks, specific to the Nvidia Tesla K40 GPU accelerator. Bright’s Cluster Management GUI provides direct access to the Nvidia GPU boost technology by setting clock speeds for individual GPUs. Bright also provides support for CUDA 5.5 which is immediately available for the Nvidia Tesla K40 GPU accelerator.

The news comes only a week or so after Bright Computing released the next generation of its Bright Cluster Manager, employing Bright roles to make it easier to configure Hadoop services such as HBase, YARN and ZooKeeper.
