Turkey move for CadSoft

CadSoft is strengthening its presence in the Turkish market with a new distributor agreement with Beti BiliÅŸim Teknolojileri.

Beti is one of the leading electronics companies in Turkey that develops technology training services for the educational market. Through the introduction of new high-technology products and training kits, based on embedded electronics, Beti is well-known in Turkey among universities, lecturers and engineering students.

CadSoft specialises in the development of CAD software – particularly Eagle, which has been used by design engineers worldwide for 25 years.

'Our main intention is to prepare simple and inexpensive training tools associated with carefully prepared students’ workbooks, so that every school and every student will be able to afford to buy it and to get acquainted with new technologies,' said Zeynep Köksal, owner of Beti.

Thomas Liratsch, general manager of CadSoft, added: 'The new cooperation with Beti BiliÅŸim Teknolojileri will help us address the growing demand for design tools and capabilities in Turkey.

'We look forward to a successful cooperation as their focus on the university segment ties in perfectly with Eagle’s main differentiators: ease-of-use, flexible and affordable. These key functionalities meet the education segment’s requirements towards CAD software and make Eagle so attractive for it.'

The cooperation between CadSoft and Beti will simplify the tasks of design engineering students and professionals in Turkey. By using Eagle software in their projects, they will be better prepared to meet the challenges associated with technological advancements in silicon and packaging, and will be able to manage their complex PCB designs easily and affordably.
