Eurotech receives Intel Cluster Ready Certification

Share this on social media:

Eurotech has received Intel Cluster Ready Certification for Aurora, the group's HPC architecture based on the Intel Xeon 5500 series processor. Thanks to its scalability, the Aurora architecture allows the creation of machines with a computation power ranging from TeraFlops (thousand of billions of operations per second) up to PetaFlops (millions of billions of operations per second).

With the Intel Cluster Ready Program, Intel teamed up with industry leaders like Eurotech to make HPC simpler by taking the risk and complexity out of buying an HPC cluster. Certified Intel Cluster Ready clusters and registered Intel Cluster Ready applications are pre-tested for interoperability. With certified Intel Cluster Ready systems it is possible to find the right cluster configuration right away and to count on components to work together right out of the box.

The Intel Cluster Ready compliance helps ensure system components continue to work together and deliver outstanding performance over the lifetime of the cluster, increasing availability and saving time for IT departments, reducing total cost of ownership (TCO).
