DNAStar sign deals with US General Services Administration

DNAStar has signed a contract with the US General Services Administration (GSA) for the supply of the company’s Lasergene sequence analysis software. GSA is the organisation within the US Government charged with providing products and services to support the work of many government agencies throughout the country.

Under terms of the agreement, scientists who are authoriaed to purchase through GSA will be able to speed up the purchase of selected Lasergene sequence analysis software configurations at uniform, favourable terms by taking advantage of the US Government’s purchasing capability. The contract is for a period of five years. 

Lasergene is a suite of tools for molecular biologists and geneticists used primarily in the assembly and analysis of DNA and protein sequences.
