AcuSolve now supports Microsoft Windows HPC Server 2008

Acusim's CFD solver, AcuSolve now supports Microsoft Windows HPC Server, enabling CAE engineers to access a scalable CFD solution in the familiar Windows HPC environment.

A general-purpose, finite element-based CFD solver, AcuSolve integrates with CAE design and analysis applications to solve complex multidisciplinary design problems involving coupled fluid flow and structural phenomena. The addition of Windows HPC Server 2008 support presents a powerful and scalable solution to Windows-based CAE users from desktops to workgroups.

Windows HPC Server 2008 combines the power of the Windows Server 2008 with out-of-the-box functionality to help improve the productivity and reduce the complexity of the HPC environment. Testing shows that with AcuSolve running on Windows HPC cluster, CAE users are able to obtain great scalability and performance while offering a familiar path for users to apply more computing power as needed.
