Perceptive readers of this issue of Scientific Computing World may notice a subtle difference. The magazine is now under the ownership of Europa Science. This dedicated science-publishing company has been formed jointly by the two organisations that have been working on the magazine for the past three years: Cambridge Publishers, and 2020 Communications.
By joining Europa Science, Scientific Computing World (along with its companion publication Research Information) is becoming part of a venture that already publishes Electro Optics, Imaging and Machine Vision Europe, and Display Solutions magazines. You can rest assured that many other titles will follow shortly.
These are exciting times for this publication, which will benefit greatly from cross-fertilisation of ideas and innovations; but readers can be assured that the quality of editorial material and of the magazine's presentation will be continued and enhanced under its new ownership.
