SUPPLIER
Product overview:

Tripos International supports life science researchers in a broad range of organisations and research facilities worldwide.  Our products and services improve the efficiency of these scientists’ molecular discovery efforts and accelerate the identification and optimisation of new compounds that have the potential to become new products in the drug, chemical, biotech, food, flavouring and fragrance markets, among others.  Offerings include:

The SYBYL expert molecular modelling environment provides the fundamental components for understanding molecular structure and properties with special focus on the creation of new chemical entities, and includes comprehensive tools for molecular modelling: structure building, optimisation, and comparison; visualisation of structures and associated data; annotation, hardcopy, and screen capture capabilities; and a wide range of force fields.  Users can employ ligand- (QSAR, ADME, pharmacophore perception, molecular alignment) and receptor-based design techniques (protein-ligand docking, de novo design), macromolecular modelling (protein structure determination, homology modelling), library creation, molecular diversity analysis, data mining and more.

Benchware applications are used by laboratory researchers to support chemical synthesis and testing decisions, to digitally store, search and retrieve research information, and to share experimental results with project team members, including computational scientists.

Muse is a de novo design workflow, built on the Pantheon platform, designed to accelerate the identification and optimisation of lead candidates.  Using Muse, CADD Scientists and Medicinal Chemists identify novel structures, scaffolds, or side-chains that meet specific design objectives.
