Sciformatics has introduced three new versions of its Saas-based LIMS, SciLIMS. The new Lab Group Edition is designed for laboratories with up to five users, providing features similar to the existing Professional Edition. The new Samples Edition is designed for laboratories with simple storage and container management requirements. The new Samples Edition Lite is similar to the Samples Edition and is designed for labs with up to three users.
SciLIMS operates securely via the increasingly accepted cloud computing and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model. This eliminates the need for customers to purchase, install, and maintain computing resources; instead, customers can concentrate on their core responsibilities.
