Cuda 1.1

Nvidia has released a new version of its C-compiler for GPU programming, Cuda 1.1. This latest version of the Cuda software suite includes support for 64-bit Windows XP.

Starting with this release, Nvidia’s standard display drivers will include the Cuda driver, eliminating the need to install specific software and enabling the seamless deployment of CUDA accelerated applications across multiple markets.

Version 1.1 of the software development kit includes additional multi-GPU C source code examples enabling users to scale CUDA computations across multiple GPUs.

Nvidia has also released a new Cuda debugger based on a standard GDB interface. The debugger enables the setting of break points, as well as setting/examining variables directly on the GPU, all using the C language. The debugger also supports a standard DDD graphical interface.
