Halcyon Software, a developer of multi-platform systems management software, has announced the appointment of Philip Pearson as senior sales manager for Europe. He will be responsible for developing relationships with IBM customers across a range of market sectors, providing multi-platform systems management and security solutions to support critical IT processes running on IBM i (formerly the IBM iSeries), Windows, AIX and Linux platforms.
Philip Pearson has spent over 20 years in the IT industry, with more than 13 years experience with the IBM i marketplace.
Prior to joining Halcyon, he worked for Help Systems International, a provider of systems management, security, and business intelligence solutions, where he was regional sales manager for IBM i customers with an international presence.
Earlier in his career he also worked for Vision Solutions, the leading provider of cloud replication and recovery, high availability and cross-platform data sharing systems.
