ClinPhone founder Neil Rotherham joins Good Products as executive chairman

Good Products has announced ClinPhone founder Dr Neil Rotherham has joined the company as executive chairman. Rotherham will work with the Good Products team at the UK headquarters in Nottingham, to direct company growth.

In 1993 Rotherham co-founded ClinPhone, recognising the opportunity to improve the clinical trials process through the implementation of telephone and web-based solutions. Rotherham led the business from conception to a 500-person company with offices in Europe and the US, only stepping down from the ClinPhone board in 2006 after introducing a management team to take the company public. Rotherham has since been involved in a variety of small enterprises as owner, manager and in a non-executive capacity.

‘Pharmaceutical organisations are constantly looking for new methods of streamlining information, but increasingly strict regulations mean that smaller companies can find compliance confusing,’ said Neil Rotherham. ‘Good Products is ideally placed not only to provide easy-to-use document management systems, but also to advise companies on optimal and compliant solutions.’

With more than 20 years’ experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industries, Rotherham brings to Good Products experience in key markets for the company’s suite of products: g-docs electronic Document Management Software, g-train compliant training solution and CoSign digital signature software. Rotherham qualified in medicine in 1986 and trained as a hospital physician before moving into the pharmaceutical industry to work on medicine development for Boots Pharmaceuticals, prior to founding ClinPhone.
