Core ELN integrates Microsoft Office Web Apps
16 August 2013
Core Informatics has announced a tight integration between its Core ELN and Microsoft Office web applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The Core ELN is a web-based electronic laboratory notebook used to capture, catalogue, and secure R&D experimental data and intellectual property (IP). The Core ELN possesses both structured and free-form data capture as well as searching capabilities that provide researchers with valuable insights on experimental results and design.
MS Office Web Apps are touch-friendly web applications that let users create, edit and share their Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files from any browser. This new capability provides an easy-to-use collaborative forum within the Core ELN to share and discuss R&D experiments with colleagues and collaborators, and reduce the time and number of experiments needed to obtain results and make appropriate decisions.
