Boxx Technologies has been showcasing its multi-GPU 3DBOXX 8950 workstation at the COE 2014 Annual PLM Conference & TechniFair at the end of April, by running Dassault Systèmes Catia demonstrations.
Boxx makes high-performance computer workstations and rendering systems and the 3DBOXX 8950 workstation, features five NVIDIA professional graphics cards, liquid cooling, and dual Intel Xeon E5-2600v2 series processors (24 cores) along with a single Quadro K2000 GPU and four additional Tesla K20 graphics cards. The demonstration model was configured for optimal Catia performance, but Boxx also offers a range of 8950 configuration options to accelerate complex visualization, simulation, and computation workflows within any industry.
The CATIA-certified 3Dboxx 4150 Xtreme is a compact, affordable workstation featuring liquid cooling, an Nvidia Quadro K6000 GPU, and a safely overclocked Intel Core i7 processor running at 4.3GHz.
