Compiler supporting Intel Xeon Phi
17 December 2012
A new version of Caps entreprise’s directive-based compiler, in support of the Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor, has been released. The company states that its customers will be able to easily port their scientific applications that already use directives and directly benefit from the improved capabilities of the coprocessor.
‘With the on-going standardisation effort in the directive-based programming such as OpenMP for accelerators, we believe our customers will be able to keep their legacy codes portable across those architectures,’ said François Bodin, Caps CTO. ‘By using these tools, our customers can easily accelerate their use of many-core architectures.’
