ATL appoints director of Support Services

Accelerated Technology Laboratories (ATL) has promoted Fred Rider to the position of director of support services. Rider has worked at ATL for 10 years; he is a Microsoft Certified Professional and previously served as ATL's Quality Assurance (QA) Manager and senior software engineer.
 
Rider has more than 35 years of expertise in the software industry and laboratory automation. He previously worked in the US Air Force and Microsoft, prior to joining ATL. For almost a decade now, Rider has been supporting ATL's Fortune 500 clients with their Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) implementations, both Sample Master Pro and NeoMate LIMS.

His responsibilities as director of Support Services include management of support services operations with the goal of maintaining and growing ATL's world-class customer service. In addition to overseeing the support team, Mr. Rider will also oversee ATL's LIMS University, with regularly scheduled LIMS Boot Camps as well as a series of technical training courses.
