OpenEye opens European office

OpenEye Scientific Software, a developer of innovative molecular modelling solutions for drug discovery research, has opened its first European office in Strasbourg, France.

Vincent Vivien is the first to join the European office as director of European accounts. He was most recently Bioreason’s managing director for Europe. Talking about OpenEye's software, he said: 'Relying on shape and electrostatics in molecular modelling is a very novel approach; yet it has already been endorsed by many subscribers of the company’s software. I am eager to contribute to further raise the awareness of the company’s philosophy and products the among the European community of drug designers.'
